I think schools should leave this sort of thing up to the parents. My child was in second grade and became completely consumed with the elf stuff . My child has an incredible imagination and requires no extra help from school! It was really hard to bring him back to reality after the elf left our home. My son is very bright, but has sensory issues..something for the schools to think about.. Sure enough, I dropped him off in carpool
this morning and saw several children carrying their elves to school… It’s December 1st..I am dreading December 12 as that is the day engraved on his brain that the elf arrived last year.. I smile and go along with it..

Just curious. I always kid my son that there is a ghost in his closet because I go in there and close the door everyday, yet somehow it always seems to be open.
