What a powerful essay! Thanks for sharing your experiences in order to help others understand what we live each day.

My 2 y.o. Alexis had a reaction on Friday evening from sitting on my lap. We don't know what it was but likely suspects are the cheese I ate that morning or the mayo on the sandwich I ate at lunch. I already wash my hands and brush my teeth before leaving work, now I'm adding changing clothes.

I am not so poetic as you, but I can feel your pain. My daughter is only anaphylactic to nuts, but is also allergic to eggs, dairy, gluten, and beef. I eat my indulgences only while she is in school and then scrub my hands and brush my teeth vigorously! I have no money to donate this year but my thoughts and caring are with you and the organization!

Belle this post is amazing. I cannot imagine what it must be like for you all. I feel so sad and kind of angry for you too. I hope they find a cure soon. It must be very hard to have this worry.
