There are all these rules you need to make up and then not break, unless there are extenuating circumstances which allows you to break them, but not your “friends.” It sure is hard to keep the story straight and logical and you end up contradicting yourself and not making sense at all, as is probably dawning on him while he is telling you all of this, hence the complexity of his story. You know how it is, Mom, you were six years old one time.
