But seriously Belle, we have a gerbil, and it’s easy. They don’t smell, they can live on shredded paper (bedding not food) and they are really quite sweet.
If you do get one though, get a glass tank, nothing plastic, they chew through plastic, believe me, I know.

He could even have Luke or Darth Vader action figure (i.e., DOLL!) as the musher driving the sled. We could make a MOVIE out of it too!
