I swear the meter maid hides behind the trees just waiting to jump out and write tickets. I got one there once before when my watch said I still had 5 mins. left on the meter. The meter however, said otherwise. The meter maid was 3 cars down from mine, so I missed her by mere seconds I think. This time I deserved it, but that last time, I don't think so. Last time we forgot to get a ticket at a car park where the first half hour was free as long as you got a ticket, it cost us £80, yes about $160 dollars.
